These belonged to my grandmother, Nanny Nellie 

Unforgettable Nanny Nellie was a tiny wee thing with a huge personality and bright red hair…who lived to 101 !

She spent her early years playing the piano to silent movies in her local cinema.

Mum to my Dad, she got her retail expertise from working for decades at Bentalls in Kingston, before becoming a regular feature behind the counter of  our shop, Ray Best Antiques, Ilminster.

If you met her you wouldn’t forget her! Always beautifully “turned out” as you can see from her gorgeous shoes .
