Antique silver mesh chatelaine purse

Beautiful little Victorian silver chatelaine coin purse

Late nineteenth century, in fine silver mesh chainmail with two compartments

It has a curved frame top with a ring for attaching it to a chain, which would have been looped through a woman’s belt

The bead at its base is squashed but otherwise this pretty little purse is in good condition
